About Us

Through personalized routines and interactive play, we meet every individual at their unique comfort level, ensuring growth feels like an encouraging adventure rather than a task. Whether we are practicing fine motor skills through a favorite craft, developing communication while playing structured games, or building confidence on outings to local spots, every activity is designed to spark curiosity and joy. This tailored engagement not only deepens their sense of self-reliance and daily independence, but also opens doors to meaningful friendships, helping your loved one thrive as an active, valued member of their community.

Rooted in these core philosophies, we bring our customized approach to life through comprehensive tailored care, engaging weekly programs, and dynamic seasonal day camps. Whether through one-on-one personalized support, routine weekly sessions designed to steady and stretch daily capabilities, or vibrant seasonal camps packed with collaborative activities, every offering is thoughtfully designed around individual interests. These structured yet joyful environments provide consistent opportunities for your loved one to practice life skills, expand their social circle, and enjoy new experiences, all while delivering dependable, restorative respite for your family throughout the year.

Meet Heather

My background and leadership roles include everything from directing and supervising respite services to hands-on management and delivery of a full range of support services for both children and adults with developmental disabilities.

I have 20+ years experience working for Kerry's Place Autism Services and Hopewell Support Services, as well as contracting a significant amount of work with an ABA lens.

I am certified through the Crisis Prevention Institute as an instructor, as well as being a first aid and CPR responder. I have a BA in Sociology and Indigenous Studies.

Now, through a range of individualized services, I have created a place where parents have access to a respite program that engage their loved one in playful learning, skill-building, personal growth that fosters independence, fun, laughter, and a sense of belonging. My goal is to provide a safe and meaningful respite experience along with a break for caregivers.

"The creation of something new is not accomplished by the intellect but by the play instinct."
